KKYau

My first encounter with Chinese antique furniture and asian art pieces was with my father's collection during the 1980's when I was still in school. For a naive student at that age, these chinese antique collections seemed like rubbish. I did not understand why my dad kept buying these asian furniture. It was not until I had frequent exposure to the chinese antique collections that I started to see the beauty in the asian decor pieces that my dad had collected. I began to see that pieces of Chinese art do not necessarily look overly ornate or 'obiang' if the Chinese furniture pieces are well mixed and placed amongst the modern pieces of furniture.

After obtaining a business degree, I aspired to do something on my own in the field of Chinese antiques that I loved. In December of 1999, Hidden Treasures was officially born. Since going into this business, I must say that I have found what I truly wanted to do. I find great inner drive and satisfaction in fulfilling the needs of each customer. After these few years, I am happy to say that many customers from many different parts of the world have become my friends.
